Don’t call it a comeback, they’ve been here for years!
ViolaFC – a long term client of ours recently went ahead and updated their site with us. They wanted a new stylish, modern eye-catching design with social media integration and a little flair to help them continue to stand out from the competition.
Viola now sports a one-page responsive design perfect for mobile, tablet and desktop. The design is strengthened with the typography partnership of Oswald Bold for headers and navigation and the serif Georgia for the site copy. The contrast between Oswald’s bold, gothic glyphs and Georgia’s elegant Scotch Roman curves and serifs play off each other really well, allowing information using either to stand out on the page. Both Oswald and Georgia were designed for use on digital devices and Georgia especially was created to be legible even at small sizes which made them a perfect choice that goes beyond their complimentary styles. This also made the site accessible on most devices.
The design also makes use of large, strong imagery in the form of a carousel at the top of the page and masthead banners for each section showing the calibre of ViolaFC’s clientele while also creating a vibrant looking page.
Viola’s new site also sports fully bespoke social media integration in the form of two Twitter feeds. At the top of the page a carousel is built showcasing the latest images from the company’s Twitter account with the latest tweet posted shown below. These two features and the company’s very active social media presence continually give the design fresh new content and imagery as well as channeling users to ViolaFC’s social media accounts further expanding their presence.
Couple all this with great testimonials from clients such as Barry Ferguson and the strengths brought by each member of the ViolaFC team and a strong, stylish, bespoke web presence is achieved – the only kind ViolaFC deserves.
